Patient Journey

Initial Contact

  • Referral/Appointment Scheduling: Patient is contacted by the specialist who the patient is being referred to via phone, text and or email.
  • Patient Information Collection: Referring provider enters patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history into Oradox which is sent to the practice being referred to.

Pre-Visit Preparation

  • Pre-Visit Communication: Patient is reached out to via the specialist to schedule appointment and to give preoperative and post operative instructions, as necessary.  Patient is informed of all points in the patient care journey in conjunction with their general dentist. 

Clinical Encounter

  • Consultation: Once the patient has been seen in the practice, all pertinent documentation, reports, notes, imaging is sent via our HIPAA compliant portal back to the general dentist, completing the circle of care.  By doing so helps reduce the leakage and keeps all parties in the loop as to the state of their treatment.  The software with support of Open AI shepherd the patient back to the general dentist for all follow up treatments. 

Care Plan Development

  • Treatment Plan Creation: We create a custom care plan depending on the needs of the patient and procedures been recommended.  We keep the patient informed using Open-AI and Chat GPT so the patient is carefully shepherd through the course of their treatment journey beginning to end.  This care plan can be customized by the Specialist to ensure all care points are hit and met based on their wants and needs.
  • Patient Education: We do ensure your patient knows the importance of the treatment they are referred for via patient education materials selected by the general dentist and specialist.  These are specifically cultivated to understand urgency and what they can expect beginning to end.  Ensuring continuity of care and that the patient returns for all follow up making sure no one falls thru the cracks

Follow-Up and Monitoring

  • Follow-Up Scheduling: Describe how follow-up appointments are scheduled and managed within Oradox.
  • Progress Tracking: Detail how the system tracks patient progress, including monitoring lab results, tracking adherence to treatment plans, and managing any complications or side effects.

Documentation and Records

  • Medical Records Management/Compliance:  All patient communication between providers is via a HIPAA compliant portal.  Patient chat communication is also done in a HIPAA compliant environment and incompliance with healthcare regulations and generates reports for quality assurance and regulatory purposes.
